Concept
Gelatine capsules, stearates and alcohol in syrups are the usual concerns.
Capsules are often gelatine, tablets may contain stearates and syrups may contain alcohol. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own: talk to your doctor and a qualified scholar or pharmacist, because Islamic rulings allow necessity.
