Alcoholic drinks
Haram
Intoxicating drinks are haram, including as an ingredient.
Wine, beer, spirits and cooking wines such as mirin or sherry are intoxicants and are prohibited (Quran 5:90). Check sauces, desserts, marinades and flavours that use them.
