Rennet and cheese
Doubtful (mushbooh)
Animal rennet is halal only from halal-slaughtered calves.
Cheese is often set with animal rennet. Rennet from halal-slaughtered animals or microbial rennet is acceptable, while rennet from non-halal sources is not. Many cheeses do not state the type.
